This privacy policy applies to all personal data processed by Parfumswinkel from its customers. If you register with Parfumswinkel or provide personal data to Parfumswinkel for any other reason, you expressly consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with this privacy policy. We advise you to read the privacy policy carefully and keep a copy for your own administration.

2.1 As part of your registration, the following personal data is processed:

1. Gender
2. First and last name
3. Address details
4. Email address
5. Date of birth
6. Phone number
7. Newsletter preference
8. Business (company name) or private
9. Personally chosen password (encrypted)
10. Shopping and purchase behavior in the form of order data

2.2 Parfumswinkel processes the mentioned personal data for the following purposes:

Your gender, first and last name, address details, email address, and date of birth are used for contact about the account and any cancellation thereof, for providing the information you requested, or for handling the information obtained from you. Your phone number is only used in combination with customer service when you call or use, for example, our WhatsApp service.

Your name, gender, date of birth, address, and email address are used for sending invitations and information about the services, activities, and surveys organized by the organization as part of the membership.

Your gender, first and last name, address details, email address, phone number, and possibly company name are used by Parfumswinkel to fulfill the services desired by the customer. For using this data, Parfumswinkel relies on the basis "necessary for entering into an agreement".

Marketing

Only if you have given permission, Parfumswinkel uses your name and email address to send you its monthly email newsletter with information about activities, services, and other interesting information about the organization's membership. Order data may be used to tailor the newsletter to be as interesting and up-to-date as possible for the customer. You can unsubscribe from this mailing at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the mailing or on your profile page.

Cookies

Because Parfumswinkel uses tracking cookies, the organization must obtain opt-in consent for this. Article 11.7a Tw stipulates that the use of cookies - except for exceptions - is only allowed if the user has 1) been provided with clear and complete information, and 2) has given consent.

When visiting the Parfumswinkel website, the customer will receive a notification about this.

IP addresses

Parfumswinkel stores IP addresses and links them to orders. The reason for this is that in case of fraud detection (by one of our processors), these can be traced, and measures can be taken in the form of a blacklist. More information about our processors can be found under topic 4.2.

2.3 Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16 years. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us via [email protected], and we will delete this information.

2.3 Parfumswinkel can anonymize the personal data and then use it at an aggregated and anonymized level for research purposes and to optimize its service offerings and operations. The aggregated and anonymized data can never be traced back to you as an individual.

Parfumswinkel processes and stores your personal data for the duration of your membership. Immediately after the aforementioned retention period has expired, Parfumswinkel will destroy and/or anonymize the personal data, unless it is required by law (for example, under tax legislation) to retain certain personal data for a longer period. In the latter case, only these specific personal data will be retained for the statutory retention period.

4.1 To protect your personal data, Parfumswinkel has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures. This secures your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

4.2 For the processing of personal data, Parfumswinkel uses services from third parties, so-called processors. These processors process the personal data exclusively on behalf of Parfumswinkel. Parfumswinkel has concluded a processing agreement with the processors in which the processor is obliged to comply with all obligations from the General Data Protection Regulation and this Privacy Policy. A list of our processors can be requested via the data protection officer.

4.3 Parfumswinkel keeps track of who can access the personal data and has an overview of the internal processors and associated accounts. Parfumswinkel does not process special personal data, and changes to personal data do not occur incidentally. For this reason, Parfumswinkel does not need to keep a register of processing activities.

4.4 In the event of a data breach, Parfumswinkel will register and document it and also report the relevant breach to the Data Protection Authority as soon as possible. If sensitive information such as address details and passwords has been leaked, customers will be immediately informed.

5.1 Through the membership administration (https://www.parfumswinkel.nl/klant/info/), you can submit a request to view, receive (right to data portability), or modify your personal data. To delete your data, you can contact customer service ([email protected]). Parfumswinkel will always process your request immediately and inform you within a month about the outcome of the request. If Parfumswinkel rejects your request, it will always explain this further.

5.2 If you wish to object to the (further) processing of your personal data as referred to in article 2, you can also contact customer service. Parfumswinkel will process the objection immediately and delete the relevant personal data unless it is legally obliged to retain the relevant personal data. If the latter is the case, Parfumswinkel will inform you of this.

5.3 If you have complaints about the way Parfumswinkel processes your personal data or handles your requests, you can contact the data protection officer ([email protected]). If we cannot resolve it together, you can always use your right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or appeal to the competent court.

Parfumswinkel is registered with the Personal Data Protection Authority in the Netherlands. This is a public register. This register can be consulted by everyone. Your personal data is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
